In this episode of Living Downstream, we hear from the founder and president of PFLAG Roseburg, Mark Lenihan. He talks about the inspiration for PFLAG Roseburg as well as the LGBTQ+ issues in our community and the upcoming Pride Parade. He also offers resources for where people can learn more, what people can do to help, and he emphasizes the importance of activism and volunteerism in our community.
In the second half of this episode we hear from two business owners who will be vendors at the Pride Parade this summer. They discuss their business, Passion Drawn in Ink, and go into detail about the connection between social justice, environmentalism, and expression through art as tools of positive change to make the world a nicer place for ourselves and future generations.
